On Nov. 19 from 5 – 8 pm at San Rafael High School, the SRHS Link Leadership Class is hosting an evening that will showcase students’ personal stories of immigration while interweaving history to share with our community the realities of immigration.

Hear discussions on why people decide to come here; the struggles students who have immigrated go through; and how people can be allies. The event aims to clarify misconceptions surrounding immigration and to prevent instances of hate that we have seen throughout the nation from happening here.

All are welcome – please come enjoy good food, dancing and stories! This is a student-led and organized event. The students have developed an agenda that includes student speakers, music/performers, a Q&A panel and more. Cosponsored by Not In Our Town San Rafael and many valuable community partners.
